In compliance with the Public Procurement Law 2016 of Kaduna State, Ikara Local Government Local Council is in the process of executing its last quarter of 2019 Capital Projects. In view of the foregoing background, suitably interested, qualified and reputable companies are hereby invited to submit their tenders in respect of the following projects:

  1. Construction of 20 Nos boreholes (Handpump) across the Local Government Area.
  2. Construction of drainage from Makera Babba to Kanfa Dutse at Ikara Town.
  3. Construction of drainage from Gidan Adamu Mai Audi to Yunusa Rumade to Anchau Road at Tashan Daru
  4. Construction Of drainage from Kudu to near Fertilizer house
  5. Construction of drainage from PHC Auchan to Kanawa bridge Auchan
  6. Construction of drainage from the bridge near Alh Musa House to Shallow pond (Kududufi) Pala.
  7. Repairs of electrical equipment at Ang Turfi near Saya Saya
  8. Construction of one block of (2) Two classrooms with 8. office at Yauran
  9. Construction of one block of Two classrooms with office at Ang Nuhu.
  10. Construction of one block of Two classroorn with office at Tashan Nabai
  11. Construction of one block Of Two classroom with office at Ang Kartau
  12. Renovation of Local Government Secretariat Mosque
  13. Renovation of Mosque at works Department Ikara Loca I Government
  14. Renovation of works Dept and infrastructure of wall fence
  15. Renovation Of Local Government Secretariat wall fence
  16. Supply of Office Furnitures to Six (6)nos Directors
  17. Supply of Office Furnitures to offices of Vice 17 Chairman, Secretary and three (3) Supervisors
  18. Supply Of Furniture to Offices Of personal Assistant (PA) to Vice Chairman, Council Secretary, Supervisors and Directors

ELIGIBILITY

Interested Companies are required to Submit the under listed documents which will be used as criteria for technical evaluation of all bids:

  1. Evidence of registration of the Company with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
  2. Evidence of the Company’s tax income clearance certificate of at least 2 years immediately preceding this year.
  3. Evidence of Companies Financial Capability to handle iii these project with letter of assurance from Companies bankers
  4. Evidence of at least one verifiable similar job previously executed by the Company to be accompanied by a letter of award of Contract, photographs and valuation certificate in respect of same

COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS

Interested Company shall collect tender form/ document from the procurement office of Ikara Local Government Secretariat at the council Secretariat, upon payment of #5,000 non-refundable tender fee per project from the hours of 10.00 am to 3:00 pm daily excluding Saturdays and Sundays.

SUBMISSION OF TENDER

  1. Completed technical and financial bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly showing the Description of the project, and name of the Contractor on top of the envelope addressed to Chairman Ikara Local Government Council and any bid Submitted not in Compliance with this notice will be rejected or returned.

CLOSING DATE

Submission of a tender bid shall be closed by 12:00 noon on 21st November 2019.

OPENING OF BID AND VENUE

Completed bid documents Submitted by Companies will be publicly opened by 12:00 pm on Thursday 21st November, 2019 at Ikara Local Government Council Chamber. Tenderers or their representatives and other members of the general public are all invited to witness the opening of the bids.
